Homebase.
Our project's headquarters are at Innovative Education Liberia (IEL) in Farmersville Suburb, Greenville. We have worked with Kru communities in Greenville such as the fishers at Red Hill and Fante town to document historical narratives, boatbuilding traditions, and fishing practices in the face of largescale climate change and oceanic exploitation by foreign corporations.
Greenville serves as a homebase for our project, as it is the urban center in Sinoe County where members of Kru communities come for commerce, meetings, and other reunions. As the capitol of Sinoe, Greenville is a rallying point for the various communities we work with.
